Hillary Clinton to Appear in Faith

Fresh off the announcement of more comics from the plus size superhero, Valiant Comics will feature Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton in the fifth issue of Faith.

Valiant Comics wanted to mark this year's presidential election. Matching the first female major-party presidential nominee with its most popular female superhero seemed like an ideal pairing.

“Voting is important. Society picking a new leader is something to celebrate,” says Faith editor Tom Brennan to The Washington Post. “This is a historic candidacy with Clinton and we just thought, [this is] something comics [have] done many times before and with [Valiant] starting to come into our own as a company, we wanted to join that proud tradition.”

The special election-edition issue will be available on newsstands and digital on Nov. 2.
