Fitness Instructor Gets Body Shamed, Launches Kindness Hashtag

When fitness instructor Liz Krueger attended a friend's wedding two weeks ago, she received some unwanted attention from fellow guests over her wardrobe choice.

Krueger wore a body-con minidress to the wedding reception, and her presence evoked negative feelings from many of the women in attendance. During the reception Krueger endured a slap on the bottom from a woman and her arm was doused with beer by another woman at the wedding who told Krueger by wearing a minidress, she was "a target."

Rather than respond with a message to "the haters" and continue the cruelty she experienced, Krueger launched #KruegerKindness, an initiative for women to be considerate to one another. "I'm going to actively make it a priority to do good things for other women, every single day from here on out. I'm hoping to inspire others to do the same, just as I have with fitness journey," says Krueger via her Instagram account. "Anything as simple as a complimenting a women daily, buying them a coffee/lunch, taking the time to speak to someone who's in a hard place, volunteering with girls who have been bullied, getting to know women deeper than surface level and making a point myself to not judge a book by its cover on a daily basis."

A trending topic on Facebook since Monday, Krueger is practicing what she preaches, and recently reported her random act of kindness, introducing herself to a woman at the gym new to the area and encouraging her workout regimen.
