Boohoo Bolsters Sizes and Sales
Struggling retailers should take cues from e-commerce site Boohoo. After added petite and plus plus sizes to its roster, Boohoo saw sales increase by 40 percent, according to Financial Times.
Boohoo's sale rose 40 percent, to £195m ($284.5M) and pre-tax profits bounced 42 percent to £15.7m ($22.9M) from March '15 to March '16, and now have four million customers (a 34 percent increase from last year).
Sales increased due to adding a wider range of clothing on the website, including plus-size, petite, swimwear and denim.
Boohoo's future plans include increasing sales in the U.S, Ireland, France and Australia.
