Stone Fox Bride Owner Adds Plus Sizes to Line

While it didn't break the internet (yet), another clothing line collaboration launched online today. The Stone Fox Bride x Eloquii plus-size bridal line goes up to size 24, and, according to an interview with Vogue, the plus-size line will not be a one-off capsule collection.

“I’m never going to do a collection again unless we do it up to a size 24," says Stone Fox Bride owner Molly Guy. "This is the new normal." Guy knows first-hand how frustrating it can be for a bride-to-be to find a gown that will be flattering, at any size. Guy worked with the design team at Eloquii to ensure that the bridal gowns were not only complimentary, but worked with with SFB's ethereal aesthetic.

With the limited selections some bridal shops offer to the plus-size customer, Guy understands the solution isn't as simple as taking a straight-size gown and making it bigger. “When you’re fitting a wedding dress, it’s so important that the bride feel like every part of her body is being honored, from the breast to the waist to the butt. And I wanted the expertise of a team of people who were used to fitting on a plus-size frame."

Congrats to both SFB and Eloquii on the bridal line, and props to Guy for realizing a need in an industry that sometimes isn't very accommodating to the plus-size bride.
