Dia & Co. Calls Out Fashion Industry in Ad

Plus size clothing subscription company Dia & Co. placed a call to action for size inclusion in the fashion industry with a full-page ad in today's New York Times. With the tagline “Fashion she can’t wear is becoming a bit unfashionable,” Dia & Co is asking those participating in New York Fashion Week, which kicks off today, to add more sizes to their lines. The ad mentions there are “100 million plus-size women in this country. The time has come for real inclusivity.” "We've seen exciting moments of progress for plus-size women in recent years, but the most significant action is still ahead of us," says Nadia Boujarwah, CEO and Co-Founder of Dia&Co in a press release. "It's time to take bolder steps toward true inclusivity in fashion. We're ready to do our part, and we hope this challenge will inspire more designers to celebrate all women."
